Dr. Alfons Nowak is a medical practitioner licensed in Germany who has worked as a Family Doctor for 35 years. His interest and focus has always been on the communication processes in the interaction between patient and doctor as well as in psychosomatic disorders.
Dr. Alfons is committed and passionate about helping and serving communities, he has a heart for the people. Together with his friends, Dr. Alfons founded a charitable organization known as Kakuma Help that provides lessons for children and support for street children.
He is a member of the DONUM Board, a Microcredit initiative that was began with the support of Dr. Alfons to nurture young entrepreneurs in Kenya that have brilliant business ideas but that have no capital. In Germany where Dr. Alfons resides, he participates in Telephone Counselling and Bereavement support.
During his free time, Dr. Alfons loves reading, writing, classic musicals / opera, photography, travelling and connecting with people. He also frequently visits the individuals and communities that he supports.
